KLS Mail Backup is a good windows freeware utility for providing your email and contacts backup. Just had a quick test, and its fast and will compress the files to take up less room. Also provides incremental backup for speed, and a fast and easy restore function.
Google Wave is the new Email
Google is touting the new way to communicate: using Google Wave. Supposed to be Email if it was invented now rather than 40 years ago. Seems to be some kind of Wiki-bulletin-facebook-email-thingy-ma-jig.
