The PC Mechanic is the creation of Robert Clarkson whose computer skills stem from his childhood fascination with how things work. He was given a PC when he was younger and from wondering what was inside the "box" part he took it apart out of curiosity and since then he has seen most computer problems before. He would happily build and fix computers for friends and family before realising that he could do this for a living.

Having been to University and obtaining his Master of Science in Systems Design for Internet Applications, and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Robert gained experience in Web Development, Internet Application Development and Facebook Application development with various companies before settling in Queenstown. As well as running The PC Mechanic Robert is also a freelance web developer for various local Queesntown companies.

Robert would describe himself as a personable guy with a lot of patience for the technology layman and a keen footballer, runner, surfer and snowboarder. You might catch a glimpse of him on any of the ski fields, or mid week jogging on the Frankton track or the sunshine bay tracks which are his two favorite running spots. He is always looking to meet new people and face new challenges, so if you have a computer problem give him a call!
